Mergify is in Hold. It is used only in pb-frontend; do not expand its use while we evaluate GitHub Merge Queue as a potential replacement at the next renewal.

Mergify is a GitHub automation platform that streamlines pull request workflows through merge queues and workflow automation. It ensures code merges faster and safer by batching PRs, detecting conflicts early, and automating merge processes based on configurable rules.

We use Mergify to automate PR management, reduce CI churn, and maintain a stable codebase through intelligent merge queuing.
