Weaviate

Weaviate is deprecated in favor of Vespa, Productboard's adopted search platform. Do not start new production work with Weaviate; existing consumers should plan migration to Vespa and removal of their Weaviate dependencies.

The replacement decision addresses our requirements for dynamic custom-field filtering, queries across multiple entity types, high-frequency updates, and memory-efficient storage of chunk vectors and metadata. See ADR-800: New Engine for Search for the rationale.

AI-native vector database with hybrid search capabilities. Supports semantic search, keyword search, and filtering in a single query.
